In sharing about Rally Sunday, I forgot to mention that our vergers (represented by Angus Graham and Ted Walker) accepted the gift of a new verge given by Deacon Phil Davis this last Sunday. I know all our vergers will appreciate the special dignity of this new liturgical tool.
