The Rector’s Confirmation Class

Starting on August 31, I will be teaching the Rector’s Confirmation Class. This is a class for anyone who wants to be confirmed or received as a member of Christ Church. It is also a class for visitors, newcomers, and people who want a review of basic Christian teachings. We will learn about Symbols of the Church, Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, Holy Scripture, the Book of Common Prayer, Church History, Salvation and Sanctification. We will meet in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. from August 31 through November 9. This year Confirmation will be on April 26, 2009 during the Bishop’s annual visitation. I look forward to another great class with many interesting questions.
